Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas is close to signing a one-year qualifying offer with the Houston Rockets, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, of Yahoo Sports.
Motiejunas previously had second thoughts about the qualifying contract and was trying to negotiate another kind of deal with the Rockets.
With negotiations being stale, it seems that he will signed the offer which will make him an unrestricted free agent on summer 2017. The current deal will also allow him to veto any trade options that the Rockets might consider for him.
