Josh Smith’s basketball career takes a new spin, as the Sichuan Whales have lured him to play in China, as reported by David Pick.
The 30 years old forward signed a 3–month, $1.5 million deal with the team. Smith last played for Houston Rockets, to where he returned from Los Angeles Clippers.
Before joining the Rockets the first time, he played for Detroit Pistons, though he’s been best known for his long term duty in Atlanta Hawks. He was selected by the team in the 2004 draft as the 17th overall pick.
