It’s no secret that Mario Hezonja holds a special place in his heart for Panathinaikos and tonight he expressed his love for the Greens once again.
The Orlando Magic forward posted a picture on his official Facebook profile that compares the crowd during Barrack Obama and Donald Trump inauguration speeches with… a fully packed “OAKA Arena”, home of Panathinaikos.
Underneath he used an emoji with the shamrock, which is the official sign of the Greek club.
In the past, the Croatian player had mentioned Panathinaikos as a “favorite team”, one which he “loves”. He’s said that even though he can’t watch the full EuroLeague games he doesn’t miss the highlights because he likes the way the team plays and the reactions of its fans.
Before joining the world of the NBA, Hezonja played in Barcelona under the guidance of Xavi Pascual, who currently coaches Panathinaikos.
