With one of his best all-around games in the season so far, Dario Saric helped the Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers beat the Sacramento Kings 122 – 119 and improve their record to 18 – 29.
Saric dropped 17 points (8/11 from the field), grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out a season-high 6 assists while his team was +10 with on the 27 minutes he spent on the floor. Some of the Croatian forward’s dimes were things of beauty, as you can see below. Fellow Euro Ersan Ilyasova had 10 points while Sergio Rodriguez chipped in 5.
Robert Covington paced the winners with a double-double of 23 points/10 rebounds as the 76ers overcame the monster performance of DeMarcus Cousins who scored 46, got 15 boards and sent 5 assists to his teammates. Yet he was fouled out with almost one minute to go and couldn’t help the Kings on crunch time.
Kostas Koufos was a starter for the Kings and finished with 6 points and 1 block.
