French swingman Axel Toupane is back to the NBA after signing a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. The news were announced by his agent, Pedja Materic on Twitter.
The deal is reportedly of a 10-day duration and brings Toupane from the Raptors 905, (Toronto’s D-League affiliate) to the best league in the planet after his previous stint with the Denver Nuggets.
Toupane was averaging 16.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game so far in the season, with performances that earned him a spot in the D-league All-Star game.
The Bucks are currently ranked 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 25 – 31. Last night they lost to Denver Nuggets, despite a 33-point game by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
