The Atlanta Hawks have claimed Jose Calderon off the waivers list, as Adrian Wojnarwoski of the Vertical reported, and the club announced shortly afterwards.
Calderon, 35, had signed with the Golden State Warriors, only to be waived after… two hours, with full pay, to make room for Matt Barnes.
The Spanish veteran guard began the season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 3.3 points, 2.1 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 12 minutes during 24 games before being waived on February 27.
