Injury-plagued Nikola Pekovic, who already missed the current season due to recurring foot problems is likely to retire soon.
Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau told StarTribune that Pekovic might have played his last game due to these long-term injuries.
“I don’t think he will play again,” said the coach. “I mean, that’s for him and his doctors but just listening to what the doctors have told me and what he has said, I’m not expecting it in our plans going ahead. We won’t rely on him.”
