Giannis tied Kareem’s record for most triple-doubles in Bucks history

Giannis Antetokounmpo notched his 3rd triple-double of the season last night helping the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Charlotte Hornets 89 – 79 in the second to last game before the playoffs.

This was the 8th triple-double in the Greek point forward’s career, a number that only one more player has managed in the Bucks history. The mighty Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Abdul-Jabbar, who has often spoken with great praise for Giannis, played for the Bucks from 1969 to 1975. He led them to their only NBA title in 1971.

The “Greek Freak” has been generally making some historical accomplishments in the season. Let’s see if he will follow Kareem’s legacy and one day also win the championship with the Bucks.
