“I want to be an NBA player,” Korkmaz said according to Bucks County Courier Times. “It’s my dream.”

“He’s got a desire to come over this year, but I think all of that is still subject to discussion, negotiation — whatever you want to call it,” said Bryan Colangelo, the team’s president of basketball operations, referring to his 2 million buy out.

“Some (Sixers fans) who live in Philly, they are texting me ‘We need you. We need shooters,’ ” Korkmaz said. “I really appreciate them. I think my best ability is shooting, but this is basketball and you need to do all the stuff. I am working on my weakest parts.” The Turkish guard is currently practicing with the Sixers and he may play in one of the upcoming summer leagues with them.
