Karnisovas played at Seton Hall, won Olympic bronze medals for Lithuania in 1992 and ’96, and played several years internationally for Barcelona and Olympiacos among others.
The Nuggets are coming off a 40-42 season, just missing the playoffs. They have a rising star in Nikola Jokic but also are expected to face free-agent decisions on Danilo Gallinari and Mason Plumlee.
