Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo challenged the 2005 Greek national team into a spectacular game that fused the past and the future of Greek basketball together.
Plenty of fans made it a full house from early on. The “Pale De Sports” was a full house in the course of an hour, with the crowd making its presence noticeable throughout the game!
As the score was close in the final period and Nikos Zisis trimmed it to 107-109, everyone was expecting a similar game ending as in Belgrade back in 2009! Yet Dimitris Diamantidis, who received a warn welcome by the crowd, ceased to succeed in the final shot, giving the “opposing” team the win!
