Andreas Pistiolis, long time assistant coach both in Panathinaikos under Zeljko Obradovic and also in CSKA Moscow under Dimitris Itoudis and Antonio Herrera, assistant coach of Joan Plaza in Unicaja Malaga, will have the chance to be part of the NBA summer league.
It’s a very common practice for NBA teams and European coaches to collaborate during the summer league and many more are expected to do the same. For many years Christos Marmarinos from Olympiacos remains part of the Spurs summer league coaching staff, while also Itoudis for many years before becoming a head coach in Banvit and in CSKA Moscow, was part of the Pistons summer league coaching staff.
