The die has been cast for Bogdan Bogdanovic who will continue his career in the NBA.
As Ailene Voisin of the Sacramento Bee reported, the Serbian guard will be signing a $36 million, three-year deal with the Kings.
Bogdanovic had more or less given a fair number of signs that his time with Fenerbahce has come to an end after the most succesfull year of his career so far. He won his first EuroLeague title and the Turkish championship where he was named Finals MVP.
The 24-year-old international player completed 2016/2017 as member of the All-EuroLeague First team, despite missing almost half of the regular season stretch due to ankle injuries. Yet each time he fell, he came back stronger, ultimately leading Fenerbahce to the EuroLeague Final Four with a pair of exquisite performances during the playoffs.
He then notched 14 points plus six assists in the semifinal (vs Real Madrid) and 14 points plus five rebounds in the final (vs Olympiacos) to propel Fenerbahce towards the first EuroLeague title in the history of the franchise and Turkish Basketball.
