According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, the Dallas Mavericks are offering the German great a 2-year, $10 million deal, with a team option in the second year.
Nowitzki, 39, will be one step away from reaching another milestone in his great career, that of two decades spent with the Mavericks, given that he first joined in 1998.
Nowitzki is the fourth oldest player in the NBA, trailing Vince Carter, Manu Ginobili and Jason Terry.
