It’s finally done! Milos Teodosic is ready for his NBA debut as a member of the LA Clippers with a two-year contract which will pay him $12.3 millions.

The deal was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, one day after the initial Eurohoops reports about the negotiations. The second year of the contract is a player’s option.

Teodosic was also in talks with the Chicago Bulls and the Minessota Timberwolves, however the Clippers are the team in which he will play at least for next season.

The 3o years old Serbian point guard is widely considered as the best passer, if not the best player, outside the NBA. He is the leader of the Serbian national team and until this season the starting point guard of CSKA Moscow. Compared to the contract offer he had on the table by the Russian powerhouse, Teodosic is actually taking a pay cut in order to play in the NBA.

Teodosic has been a teammate of Pat Beverley at the Greek club Olympiacos back in the 2009-2010 season. This was the year that Teodosic was named EuroLeague MVP, while Olympiacos reached the EuroLeague final. Teodosic finally won the EuroLeague in 2016, as a member of CSKA Moscow where he played after leaving the Greeks.

He has won a silver Olympic medal in Rio with the Serbian national team, a EuroBasket silver medal in 2009, as well as a FIBA World Cup silver medal in 2014. You can follow his official blog in Eurohoops.
