A reunion between former Partizan Belgrade players will take place in the NBA, more specifically in the San Antonio Spurs.
French center Joffrey Lauvergne has agreed to a deal with the Spurs, as Shams Charania of The Vertical reported. He’ll therefore once again share locker room with Davis Bertans who was his teammate in the Serbian team back in 2012 – 2014.
Lauvergne was made an unrestricted free agent yesterday after the Chicago Bulls pulled their qualifying offer from the player.
The 25-year-old big guy joined the Bulls on February, following a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder that included Cameron Payne and Anthony Morrow, apart from himself.
In 20 regular season games with Chicago, he averaged 4.5 points plus 3.4 rebounds.
