Marc Gasol will reportedly miss the opening game of Memphis Grizzlies, as he’s still recovering from his injury.
“We continue with the recovery of the ankle. We want to be 100% ready before returning to action,” said the player. “We do not want any kind of relapse. We’re improving and we’re happy with the progression we’ve made.”
The center had to leave the court in the second quarter against Russia in the bronze-medal game, after receiving a strong blow to the ankle by Kurbanov.
