A few days ago, Doc Rivers said that he expects Milos Teodosic to sprinkle a dose of shooting on his game. Well, his new floor general did exactly that tonight.
The Serbian guard had 0/4 from beyond the arc in the preseason so far, but, in his first game at the Staples Center, he shot 4/7 and notched 15 points plus 3 assists as the L.A. Clippers lost 106 – 134 to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Teodosic spent 28 minutes on the floor, more than any other player from both teams, finishing with 5/12 from the field while also grabbing 2 rebounds and also… blocking the ball once. True story.
He also hit some jumpers right after dislocating his finger.
His 15 points tied the Clippers’ team-high with Blake Griffin scoring the same number while also posting 6 assists and 4 rebounds.
For the Blazers, Bosnian Jusuf Nurkic had 13 points (6/9) and 9 rebounds in 24 minutes. Damian Lillard led all scorers with 35 points.
