Rudy Gobert feasted on the Los Angeles Lakers on his way to a “monster” double-double

In the final game of the preseason, the Utah Jazz beat the LA Lakers by a final score of 105-99 capitalizing on a 7-0 run to end the game.

The game was pretty close for the most part and it’s worth noting that Lonzo Ball did not play for the Lakers.

Rudy Gobert had a monster night finishing the game with 29 points on 10-of-12 shooting and 9-of-11 from the charity stripe. He added thirteen boards, two assists, a steal and a block in 33 minutes with the most interesting stat being his efficient shooting from the free-throw line and if he can do that consistenlty, teams will have a very rough time guarding him.

Ricky Rubio also had a nice game with 22 points, three rebounds,  six assists, two steals and seems to be building confidence with his new squad.

The Utah Jazz may have lost Gordon Hayward to free agent but look like a legitimate playoff contender at the moment.
