During a Q&A for his youtube channel, Kevin Durant spoke very highly of Giannis Antetokounmpo. This isn’t the first time he has praised the emerging, young, superstar but this time he took it to a whole other level.
“The Greek Freak is a force. I’ve never seen anything like him.”, he said. “He could end up being the best player to ever play if he wanted to.”, he continued.
“That’s pretty scary to think about. He’s by far my favorite player to watch.”, he concluded.
Giannis is the first player to average 20 points, eight boards and 1.5 blocks since Kevin Garnett did in the 2002-2003 and he is 22 years of age. The sky is the limit for Giannis and while he has gained everyone’s recognition and respect, he has set the bar much higher and is hoping to have solid MVP campaign this year.
