A 33-point game by Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t news anymore, just routine.
But thanks to this latest display, which also included 11 rebounds and five assists as the Milwaukee Bucks beat Atlanta Hawks 117 – 106 on the road, the “Greek Freak” gained entrance to a truly special list of players.
After tonight’s game, Giannis is just the third hooper in the last 35 years to score more than 207 points in the first six games of the season.
Who are the other two and the only ones surpassing him? Michael “the GOAT himself” Jordan and Stephen Curry.

Giannis has amassed 208 points, after averaging 34.2 per game. He currently leads all league scorers while the Bucks are at a 4-2 record.
Here’s a piece of his brutal action against the Hawks.
