The Philadelphia Sixers officially announced that Turkish swingman Furkan Korkmaz has been assigned to the Delaware Sevens, the team’s G-League affiliate.
Korkmaz, 20, appeared in five preseason games with the Sixers averaging 4.8 points. Despite making a positive impression throughout the preparation period, he didn’t manage to log any minutes during the five games that the Sixers played in the regular season so far.
The 26th first-round selection of the 2016 NBA Draft, Korkmaz signed with the Sixers on July 4.
The team announced that guard-forward @FurkanKorkmazFK has been assigned to @Sevens of the @nbagleague.
