Timofey Mozgov has made a name for himself in the NBA through being an efficient, old school 7-footer.
But with the Brooklyn Nets this season, the Russian player is trying to join the wave of the modern game, by launching his 3-pointers game.
And he seems confident about it: “If you don’t shoot,” he told the New York Times, “you don’t make. But it’s not like I’ll be on the 3-point line all game.”
As mentioned on the story, Mozgov often concludes his practice by taking dozens of long-range shots with the help of assistant coaches who rebound for him. As he works his way around the arc, he forces himself to make 7 of 10 attempts before he moves on to the next spot.
