The Latvian star scored a career-high 38 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored all 13 of his points in the fourth quarter to help the Knicks beat the Denver Nuggets 116-110. Serbian sensation Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 28 points but they were not enough.
Utah Jazz prevailed over Dallas (104-89) as Spaniard Ricky Rubio saw his shot begin to fall in the second half and finished with 20 points. French star Rudy Gobert added 17 points, 12 rebounds, six blocks and six assists. German icon Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs with a season-high 18 points.
The Orlando Magic soundly defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 115-99 as Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic, Jonathon Simmons and French Evan Fournier each scored 20 points for Orlando.
