On a veterans day Saturday night, Euro-ballers dropped some impressive performances helping their teams win.
In a game that featured 6 active European players, Kristaps Porzignis returned from a one game absence and went straight to work against Bogdan Bogdanovic and the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings may have jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first but it was all New York after that with Porzingis doing it on both ends of the floor leading his team to a 118-91 win.
“The Unicorn” finished the game with 34 points, 5 boards, 2 assists and 2 blocks in only 26 minutes. This game marks his 8th game of the season of 30 or more points.
Enes Kanter had a “monster” double-double, 17 points and 13 rebounds. Youngsters Frank Ntlikina and Willy Hernangomez also helped their team win.
For the losing side, Bogdanovic had 9 points on 3-of-7 shooting adding 2 boards, 1 assist, 2 steals and a block.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks took care of the Lakers in a 98-90 win. The “Greek Freak” was dominant once more on his way to 33 points, 14 rebounds 3 assists.
On the other hand, Lonzo Ball became the youngest NBA player in history to record a triple double (19 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists.)
