In a two-game Thursday night that headlined the game between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors it was Swiss big-man Clint Cappela that shined among Euro-ballers.
First, the Celtics extended their winning streak to 14 after defeating the defending Champs 92-88.
Daniel Theis had 2 boards in a win while Pachulia (6 p. 6 r.) and Casspi ( 2 p. 8 r.) couldn’t help the Dubs get over the top.
The Houston Rockets had a fairly easy afternoon (142-116) in Phoenix as they scored 90 points in the first half. Clint Capela was everywhere once again with a double-double in 21 minutes. He finished with 12 points, adding 10 boards and 2 assists in a win.
Ukrainian Center, Alex Len just missed a double-double finishing with 9 points and 13 boards in a loss.
