After losing Gordon Hayward in the first quarter of the season opener, few could imagine what would follow for the Celtics.
With their winning streak at 13 and the defending Champs coming into Boston many thought that was when it would end.
After beating the Dubs, Brad Stevens managed to keep everyone humble and the 16 point deficit they faced in Atlanta didn’t scare them at all.
The Celtics ended winning this one easily (110-99) with Kyrie Irving leading the way with 30 points, 4 boards and 5 assists. German big-man Daniel Theis (3 boards) only playing 3 minutes.
For the Hawks, Dennis Schroder continued to be the one-man show he’s been so far this season. The German point-guard had 23 points, 2 boards, 9 assists and 2 steals.
Marco Belinelli added 4 points, 4 boards an an assist in the loss.
