In a three-game Sunday afternoon, Goran Dragic showed why he’s the leader of the Miami Heat.
The Slovenian star led the Heat to their third straight win, as he scored 24 points including 14 in the fourth quarter.
For the losing side, Finnish rookie, Lauri Markkanen had a double-double with 11 points, 10 boards, adding an assist and a block.
The Phoenix Suns visited the Minnesota Timberwolves, and with Devin Booker inactive, former Euroleague star Mike James stole the show with a career-high 27 points despite the (119-108) loss.
Finally, Marc Gasol (18 p. 5 r.) couldn’t help the Grizzlies snap their losing streak as the visiting Brooklyn Nets won 00-00 on the road.
Memphis is now 0-7 without Mike Conley this season.
Timofey Mozgov had 4 points, 4 boards, an assist and a block in 13 minutes in a win.
