Bogdan Bogdanovic scored an NBA career-high 19 points to help the Sacramento Kings defeat the Chicago Bulls 107 – 106 in the United Center.
The Serbian guard came off the bench to shoot 6/12 from the field, dish out four assists and grab three rebounds during the 30 minutes he spent on the floor. He also hit a key 3-pointer that made it 101 – 97 with 3:17 remaining and had 1/2 from the line four seconds before the end to keep his team at a two-possession distance.
This last free throw proved to be crucial since Bulls‘ Jerian Grant beat the buzzer with a long-range 3 to finish with a team-high 17 points. With this result, Sacramento registered its second win in the last three games and climbed to a 7 – 15 record.
Lauri Markkanen had 14 points and five rebounds in 28 minutes and Paul Zipser added the same scoring and board output for the struggling Bulls that are now 3-18.
Kostas Koufos finished with four points for the Kings.
