NBA Euro-watch: Vintage Ibaka

The Toronto Raptors led wire-to-wire and ended up beating the Phoenix Suns 126-113. Serge Ibaka was a force on offense and defense with 19 points, 6 boards, an assist, a steal and 3 blocks.

Jona Valanciunas chipped in with 4 points, 8 boards and 2 steals while Jakob Poeltl continued to put up impressive numbers of bench with 13 points, 5 boards and a block.

For the losing side, Alex Len had 14 points, 7 boards, a steal and a block but it was Devin Booker’s injury that hurt the Suns more than anything.

Russel Westbrook’s triple-double helped the Thunder beat the Jazz 100-94 despite a 17-point deficit.

The reigning MVP had 34 points, 13 boards and 14 assists while Alex Abrines added 2 points, 1 rebound and a steal in a win.

For the losing side, in his second game back, Rudy Gobert played 27 minutes and had 5 points, 6 boards, a steal and a block.

Ricky Rubio did a little bit of everything with 7 points, 4 boards, 5 assists and 2 steals. Thabo Sefolosha had 11 points, 8 boards and 4 steals against his former team while Jonas Jerebko had 4 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals in a loss.

Finally, Bradley Beal dropped a carer-high 51 points in the Wizards statement win 106-92 in Portland.

Maricn Gortat had 4 points, 7 boards,  7 assists and 2 steals in a win.

Jusuf Nurkic was doing work with 15 points, 9 boards, 2 assists and 3 blocks before leaving the game with an apparent ankle injury.
