In regards to what he has achieved at only 23 years of age he said: “It’s hard work that paid off. Surprised? A little bit. I didn’t expect to be in the league at 23 and be leading a team to the playoffs and being one of the best players in the league. That’s a little surprising. I feel a little surprised but it’s a lot of hard work I’ve put in in the past five years and I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully more wins and a championship will come.”
As far as how he feels when he sees his names next to NBA legends, Giannis had this to say: “Seeing my name next to Kareerm, Oscar that’s really big. I need to keep working hard and hopefully I’ll surpass some guys on the list and stay up there.”
