One man and a half after Giannis Antetokounmpo confirmed the signing of a new long-term partnership with Nike, the company announced that the “Greek Freak” will get his own signature shoe.
“We’re also thrilled to expand our relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo as we bring his unique personality to life through new signature product and storytelling next year,” Nike CEO Mark Parker said, per Bleacher Report.
Following a stunning 2016/2017 season that earned him “Most Improved Player” honors, Giannis is averaging 29.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in the current campaign.
