The L.A. Lakers are to release Andrew Bogut, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
The 2015 NBA champion signed the Lakers prior before the beginning of the season. He averaged 1.5 points and 3.3 rebounds with the team in nine minutes per game.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Lakers will move to potentially sign a shooting guard.
