American guard Mike James is signing a two-way contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
James was on the agenda of some major EuroLeague clubs, including former team Panathinaikos and Barcelona but will continue in the NBA.
The 27-year-0ld player had been waived by the Phoenix Suns on December 23, not long after his two-way contract had been upgraded to a regular season deal.
James averaged 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game with the Suns.
