It was an emotional return for Chris Paul as he returned to Staples Center as a foe after 6 years and things got “chippy” at the end of the game.
Blake Grffin and Mike D’Antoni got into a heated argument and received technicals but later on Austin Rivers seemed to have exchanged words with Trevor Ariza and things got out of hand.
Ariza and Blake Griffin were ejected from the game but it didn’t end there as three of the Rockets players went to the Clippers locker room searching for Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin according to Adrian Wojanorwski of ESPN.
A new rivalry is developing in the Western Conference.
Houston Rockets’ players James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green pushed into Clippers locker room post-game looking to confront Austin Rivers, league sources tell ESPN. Security escorted Rockets out before anything turned physical.

Sources: As the four Rockets marched through the back hallway into the Clippers locker room, center Clint Capela knocked on the front door of Clippers entrance. Someone opened door, saw him standing there — and shut it on him.
