The Oklahoma City Thunder were cooking tonight as Donovan’s team blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers 148-124.
Oklahoma put on a show in the ‘Quicken Loans Arena’, taking full advantage of the Cavs‘ non-existent defense, scoring 148 points, marking the most points ever allowed by a LeBron James team. Since the first half, the visitors had a 16-point lead as they managed to score 76 points after 24 minutes (76-60).
OKC’s ‘Big 3’ was on another level tonight. They combined for 88 points. Russell Westbrook finished with an impressive double-double, flirting with a triple-double: 23 points, 20 assists, and 9 rebounds, while Carmelo Anthony (29 pts, 10 rebs) and Paul George (36 pts, 7 rebs) were also on the same page.
For the struggling Cavaliers, LeBron James finished with 18 points and Isaiah Thomas added 24.
The Eastern Conference champions have now lost nine games of their last twelve, and currently, sit in the third place of the East standings. It is also interesting to note, that the Cavs have a +0.2 point differential, which is the worst of a LeBron team since 2008.
