It’s far from a good season for the Memphis Grizzlies this year as they are standing on an 18-41 record which is one of the worst in the West.
It’s a frustrating situation for Grizzlies center Marc Gasol who openly questioned the team’s front office decisions to shift focus to player development.
“It’s not about somebody playing well or getting your reps or developing players. Because we have a league for that. We have a league and a team here in Memphis to develop guys“, said the Spanish player and then added:
“This is the NBA, not the G-League.”
WATCH: When asked his level of frustration with losing, Griz center Marc Gasol said: “It’s pretty high.” Gasol went on to essentially say winning is what professional sports are about. "It isn’t about developing players. Because we have a league for that.”https://t.co/r2462OK98I
