The Serb big man had 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his seventh triple-double of the season and the Denver Nuggets cruised to a 130-104 victory.

Denver led by as many as 36 points while staying in the thick of the playoff chase. The Nuggets now enter a difficult stretch in their schedule — eight of their next nine games are on the road. From the losing side, Greek-American Kostas Koufos had a double-double (14 p. 10 r.) and Serb Bogdan Bogdanovic added six points.

Spanish star Ricky Rubio had 30 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, and Utah overcame Anthony Davis’ first career triple-double for a 116-99 road victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. French Rudy Gobert added 19 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side.

The Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors 109-103 with Steph Curry missing and Nemanja Bjelica having a solid contribution for the winners who also missed Jimmy Butler with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Last but not least, the Lakers put on a show in front of their number one summer target, LeBron James, with a 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers despite the best game yet of Croatian rookie Ante Zizic who finished the night with 15 points.
