NBA Euro-watch: Saric, Ilyasova lead surging Sixers

The Sixers took over early and managed an easy win over the Magic in Orlando, 118-98. Croatian Dario Saric was solid with a double-double (10p. – 10r.) but it was the veteran Euro-ballers off the bench that provided a big spark for the winning side.

Turk Ersan Ilyasova scored 18 while Italian Marco Belinelli added 15 points. Turkish rookie Furkan Korkmaz had 3 points in his return from injury.

Croatian Mario Hezonja (9 p.) and Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic (7 p.) never really got it going for the losing side.

After suffering a surprising loss to Atlanta at home, the Utah Jazz got back on a track with a road win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Spanish guard Ricky Rubio led the way with 22 points, 5 boards, 3 assists and 5 steals. French big man Rudy Gobert was a monster on the defensive end of the floor with 5 blocks adding 11 points, 7 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals.

The German duo of Maxi Kleber (9 p.) and Dirk Nowitzki (4 p.) couldn’t change much.
