After falling awkwardly on his back, Pattrick McCaw was taken off the court on a stretcher. Earlier on Sunday (01/04), the second year guard underwent an MRI and according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports, it returned structurally sound, and hope is for McCaw to be discharged from the hospital on Sunday, but there is no return timetable just yet.
Vince Carter who inadvertently undercut the Warriors‘ guard apologized to the Golden State Warriors saying the following: “I just hope he’s okay. He is a young guy, he has a bright future, I don’t play the game that way.”
In addition, as reported by Chris Haynes of ESPN, head coach Steve Kerr visited Patrick McCaw on Saturday night (31/03), when he was laying in his hospital bed.
