Charalampopoulos is one of the best young talents in Greece and is having a good season with PAOK Thessaloniki in the Greek League. In an interview with ESPN, he talked about the upcoming NBA Draft.
“It has always been a dream to play in the NBA. Entering the draft gives me the opportunity to challenge myself outside of Europe. This decision to enter the draft was not difficult. The difficult part was finding when the right time was for me.”
For the year, the 21-year old forward is averaging 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 23 minutes per game. He has also shined numerous times in the U-18 and U-20 European championships the last three summers, winning three consecutive MVP awards.
