The Oklahoma City Thunder qualified for the playoffs last night, with a win on the road in Miami against the Heat. Oklahoma’s team will finish off the regular season, playing against Memphis, with all eyes being on Russell Westbrook.
OKC’s superstar needs to put up 16 rebounds to average a triple-double for the second straight season. For the year, the 28-year old point-guard is averaging 25.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 10.1 assists per game. If he actually does reach this feat, he will become the first player in the history of the NBA to do so.
For the record, Westbrook averaged 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 10.4 assists per contest last year.
