The playoffs came early this year. The Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves have the same record in the NBA (46-35), heading into the final game of the regular season. The teams will face off on Wednesday night in Minnesota’s Target Center for the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings.
The winner of this game will take on the Houston Rockets in the NBA playoffs, that will start on Saturday (14/04).
Nikola Jokic and Nemanja Bjelica will go head-to-head trying to lead their respective team to the most important victory of the season. Jokic has been on an absolute tear as of late, winning the Western Conference player of the week, while also leading his team to crucial wins with triple-doubles.
In an interview with Eurohoops, the 22-year old center had said that the two next games are winnable. We will found out soon if ‘The Joker’ was right.
Moreover, the Wolves have won two straight games, while the Nuggets are on a six-game winning streak. It will surely be game to watch.
