Even though Giannis Antetokounmpo is up for any challenge and does not back down from anyone in the league, he admitted to Baxter Holmes of ESPN that when the Bucks play the defending champs, they’re kind of scared and excited at the same time.
The ‘firepower’ of Golden State can be scary to many opponents and teams around the NBA. Having won two titles in the last three years, the ‘juggernaut’ in the ‘Bay Area’ is hoping for a repeat.
In a story for ESPN, ‘When the Dubs hit the turbo button‘, the ‘Greek Freak’ stated that playing against Kevin Durant and the Warriors may be a little stressful: “Whenever we play against them, we’re excited and scared at the same time, because we know that at any point in the game, they can embarrass us.”
Regardless, Milwaukee’s team was 1-1 against the defending champs in the regular season, with Giannis Antetokounmpo playing impressive and averaging 27.5 points per game.
