Brett Brown and 76ers reportedly agree on 3-year contract extension

The Philadelphia 76ers had a great year, qualified for the second round of the playoffs, but lost to the Boston Celtics in five games of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

No one questions, however, that the future is bright for this young team. With Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid creating a powerful ‘one-two punch,’ the 76ers will be in the spotlight for the years to come. One big part of this success is no other than head coach Brett Brown. As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported, Philadelphia’s team and coach Brown agreed on a 3-year contract extension.

Brown had one more year left in his deal, but after finishing the regular season with a 52-30 record, making the playoffs and winning the first round, General Manager Bryan Colangelo and the 76ers agreed to extend his contract.
