Luka Doncic will remain in the 2018 NBA Draft and won’t withdraw his name from the early-entry list, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN. The deadline for any withdrawals is until Monday (11/6) at 5 p.m. ET.
This was pretty much an expected decision for Doncic who is currently projected the be selected among the second and the fifth pick, according to various mock drafts. The no. 1 spot that the Phoenix Suns hold, seems to be a “lock” for Arizona’s Deandre Ayton so it seems that either the Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies or the Dallas Mavericks will land the 19-year-old Slovenian player of Real Madrid.
After completing the season in EuroLeague with the title for Real Madrid and a… sweep of all individual (season MVP, Final Four MVP, All-Euroleague First Team, Rising Star) awards he could win, Doncic embarks on the Spanish ACB League Finals, Wednesday (13/6) against Baskonia. He’s already won ACB season MVP.
