According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, Luka Doncic will most likely miss the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, due to the fact that he has been playing all year long and the Dallas Mavericks do not want to overwork him.
Doncic, 19, was picked at number three in Thursday night’s NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks but he was immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks. The 19-year old sensation will join Dirk Nowitzki and Dennis Smith Jr. in an effort to create and bring back the winning culture at Texas.
Las Vegas Summer League begins on July 6th, but Luka is unlikely to play.
A Mavs source says Luka Doncic is unlikely to play in the Las Vegas summer league. The Mavs don’t want to overwork Doncic in the wake of a long EuroLeague season that ended earlier this week.
