In a a traded that could have very well happened during last season, the LA Clippers acquired Polish veteran Marcin Gortat in exchange for Austin Rivers.
With DeAndre Jordan’s status up in the air, Gortat may very well be the starting center for Doc Rivers if Jordan gets traded or opts out of his contract.
It’s worth noting that both Rivers and Gortat are in the final year of their respective contracts and will be free agents next season.
