The scenario that wants Paul George leaving the Thunder for the Lakers is more than possible at this point.
As ESPN reported: “Oklahoma City Thunder star Paul George has informed franchise officials that he will not be opting in for the final year of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent“.
George had decided to opt out of his contract, which would pay him $20.7 million for next season and pursue a long-term deal either with the Thunder, or another team. The Lakers have space in their salary cap and can accommodate him and also get LeBron James and even Kawhi Leonard.
