After mutual interest between the two sides which was reported a few days prior, the Knicks have managed to lure Mario Hezonja with a one-year, $6.5 million deal, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ian Begley.
23-year-old Hezonja was made an unrestricted free agent by the Magic, after declining its four-year option on the Croatian forward.
Hezonja tapped an average of 9.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 75 games this past season.
